Mt. Amuyao a Cordillera Challenge

MT. AMUYAO (BATAD-BARLIG TRAVERSE) Ifugao and Mountain Province

Entry point: Batad Junction, Banaue, Ifugao Sitio Macalana,  Exit point: Sitio Macalana, Barlig, Mt. Province LLA: 17.0123N, 121.1297E, 2702 MASL (#10) Days required / Hours to summit: 3-4 days / 5-7 hours Specs: Major climb, Difficulty 9/9, Trail class 1-3

Level of trek: PAINFUL! lol, Immersion thru Ancient Habitual and Heritage Sites visit.

When i visit Philippines i decided to join in one group of mountaineers who organizing climb.  And i chose their mountains to climb yes, i read the difficulties but i said it doesn’t matter the important is i don’t wanna waste my time here in philippines without doing anything.  So, i inform the main organizer of this climb that i don’t have a proper training .. the only thing i can do is to jog around in our village.

We reach the summit but ..  but one thing’s for sure, the weather wasn’t that cooperative during the 3 days we were trekking down.
